"drive, he said" is a collaborative chronicle, about the road and from the road. It takes its title from Robert Creeley's famous poem, "I Know a Man." Its text comes from the last fifteen users on Twitter to post material about a "#roadtrip." It aims to capture, for an instant, an experience as varied as the roads we drive, as steady as our compulsion to drive them.
In addition to Creeley's poem and posts from various Twitter users, "drive, he said" uses and adapts code by Sandeep Gangadharan and Jason Mayes, footage by Antti Yrjönen, and music from the "K.C. Blues" by Frank Hutchinson. It works best on desktop devices. You are free to adapt and remix this work.
